The Box started in 2006 with humble beginnings from the founder's bedroom in the Springs in Dubai to the region's leading self storage and moving provider. The Box still maintains the same founding principles and values today as it had when it first started while continuing to grow regionally with a fantastic team and delivering outstanding service.
It’s your own private, secure room away from home. You store your belongings, and we keep them safe, with 24/7 access whenever you need.
We offer spaces from 12 sqft lockers to 1000 sqft storage units. Whether you're storing a few boxes or the contents of your home, our team can recommend the perfect fit and you can upsize or downsize anytime.
The prices depend on the size of your storage unit and the duration of your booking. You’ll get a customized quote based on your needs, and we always try to offer the best value.
To reserve your unit, we collect one month’s rent plus a refundable deposit. After that, you can pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly. We accept online payments, bank transfers, cards, and cheques.
Our minimum rental is just one month. You’re welcome to stay as long as you need - we’ll adapt your plan to suit. Planning to store long-term? Paying in advance means you’ll unlock the best available rates.
Yes - and we strongly recommend sturdy, stackable ones. It helps maximise your space and keeps things safe in Dubai’s climate. You can pick up everything you need from us, online or in store.
Anything flammable, perishable, alive or illegal. If you're unsure about an item, we’re happy to advise.
You’ll receive your personal access credentials at check-in. You can visit your unit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. (Holidays included)
Yes - with round-the-clock CCTV, secure entry systems, and restricted access, your items are in safe hands.
Yes, we arrange insurance options through our trusted provider to ensure complete protection for your valuables at all times.
Of course. You have full control over your space. And if your needs change, we’ll help you switch sizes.
Yes - just send us written permission along with a copy of the ID of the person collecting, and we’ll ensure secure access is arranged for them.
Not at all. If you're abroad or unavailable, you can nominate someone to manage it on your behalf. We’ll make sure it’s handled securely.
Yes, we’ve got all the essentials - boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, labels, markers, locks, and more. Available online and at our stores.
It’s a unit that maintains consistent temperature and humidity - ideal for electronics, furniture, documents, and other delicate items.
Yes, within reason. You can label or arrange your space as long as it’s reversible when you check out.
Clean, dry and label everything. Use protective materials like boxes and bubble wrap and make a simple inventory list. If it’s long-term, ask us for packing tips.
Very. Our JLT facility runs on solar energy, we recycle all moving boxes, plant trees for every customer, and aim to be as paperless as possible.
